Underground

Press U for the underground view, where the city's pipes, sewers, fibre and subway run beneath the streets.

Underground networks can run beneath anything: streets, buildings and parks. That makes them the way to link a site that sits away from the streets, and the subway the way to move commuters without fighting surface traffic. Sewage only becomes a concern as the city grows past what septic tanks can treat.

Figures are the game's base prices. Upkeep is charged every in-game day, and construction bills are drawn from the city's stock of materials, steel, copper wire and timber (see farms and trade).
